The Fourth Element Argonaut Kevlar (now evolved into the Argonaut 3.0) is a premium, highly durable drysuit. Retailing around $3,599, it utilizes military-grade Kevlar reinforcements to provide exceptional tear and abrasion resistance for wreck or technical diving, while maintaining excellent flexibility and a streamlined telescopic torso fit.
- Mobility vs. Durability: The Kevlar suit is extremely rugged, but you can also opt for the standard Stealth (lightweight nylon trilaminate) or Flex (heavier-duty polyester) variants. To get the best of both worlds, Fourth Element offers a “Stealth Hybrid” which puts lighter material on the torso for mobility and tough material on the lower half for walking on rough terrain.
- Customization: The suit features a Bio-Map measurement system. Instead of just standard off-the-rack sizing (which ranges from XS to XXXL), the biomap process photographs and measures you for a bespoke fit that minimizes excess fabric, thereby reducing gas migration.
- Seals & Valves: You can fully customize your wrist and neck systems. The suit supports Si-Tech quick-change neck and wrist systems (allowing you to fix a tear in minutes) and is compatible with dry-glove attachments like the Ellipse or PSI systems.
